Kompong Dewa Resort
Cambodia, Sihanoukville
At Kompong Dewa, an integrated luxury resort on the coast of Sihanoukville, Hunat created a family of bespoke crystal installations that accompanies guests from arrival all the way to the sky. Every piece is mouth-blown and hand-shaped from Bohemian Crystal, and every space was given its own story told in glass, light and movement.
In the grand arched hall, monumental chandeliers of white crystal blades cascade through soaring marble vaults like streams of falling light. Above the escalators, a river of white and amber discs flows down the sculpted ceiling, while a sweeping wave of crystal feathers glides over the gaming floor. Above the grand staircase, flocks of crystal birds soar among hundreds of clear spheres, filling the full height of the stately atrium with light and motion. In the private lounges and lobbies, drifting amber leaves, a blossoming amber flower and shimmering curtains of crystal bubbles bring warmth and intimacy. High above it all, the Sky Lounge glitters beneath a canopy of hand-blown crystal drops suspended under a rippled metal ceiling.
Together, the installations form one continuous narrative of light, bold in scale and refined in detail, bringing the artistry of Bohemian glassmaking to the Cambodian coast.
